WORLD PREMIERE
by Matthew Ivan Bennett
Feb 20-Mar 8, 2009
Studio Theatre | Rose Wagner
138 West 300 South, SLC
Ten Japanese internment camps were in operation on American soil during World War II. One of them, Topaz, was located sixteen miles outside of Delta, Utah. How could such a thing happen? In a post-9/11 world, could it happen again?

On February 19, 1942, FDR signed Executive Order 9066, authorizing the internment of Japanese Americans. The annual Day of Remembrance pays respect to Japanese Americans forced to report to internment camps during World War II. Click here for a detailed schedule of events.
